Interview : Suhas – Audience come out with a smile after watching Writer Padmabhusan

Young and talented actor Suhas who has been doing unique roles will be next seen in writer Padmabhushan. The film is all set for a grand release on February 3, 2023. It is directed by Shanmukha Prashant and produced by Anurag Reddy, Sharath Chandra and Chandra Manohar. Ahead of the release, we caught up with Suhas for a brief interview, and here is the transcript.

How did the journey of author Padma Bhuvan begin?

Prashant worked as an assistant director for the film Color Photo. Then I did a film called Family Drama. Prashant was its writer and that’s how I met him. Then he narrated the script of this film, which got me excited. The plot was then narrated to producers Anurag and Sharath. They too got excited and thus began our project.

Is it not risky to work with new directors?

I am also new to the industry. I got opportunities and prestige through plots written by newcomers at Chai Biscuits. We work as a team with the belief that the audience will love our stories.

It is being said that you will come on the set before time. can you talk about it?

If we go early, everything will go according to plan. I learned this while working with directors like Shiva Nirvana and Hanu Raghavapudi. They will reach the set by 5 in the morning. We had planned to complete Writer Padmabusan in 60 days, but we completed it in 43 days.

How do you judge the stories?

I don’t have much calculation on this. I’ll see how much I enjoy listening to a story. I will also see if the makers are getting excited or not. When everyone is enthusiastic, we will have more confidence in the project.

Feeling stressed as author Padmabhushan debut theatrical release?

I am very happy about the release. But at the same time I am also a little stressed. I hope the audience will bring word of mouth to the theatres. Once the audience enters the theatres, they will definitely enjoy the film.

Do you have any dream role?

Earlier I thought it was okay to do small roles, now I am getting very good roles. Thanks to the writers, I am now able to play a variety of characters. My focus will be on how I can make the best of the given role.

What do you want to say to the audience about the author Padma Bhushan?

Writer Padma Bhushan will surely entertain the audience. They will come out with a smile after watching the film. They will appreciate us that we have come up with a good film. there is no doubt about it.
