The Central Government of India has just released the list of Padma awardees for 2023, and noted Telugu music director MM Keeravani has been conferred with the Padma Shri award. MM Keeravani’s Naatu Naatu bagged an Oscar nomination yesterday and the Padma Shri for the composer was announced today.
MM Keeravani won the National Award for the film Annamayya. Apart from this, he has several Filmfare and Nandi Awards to his name, and the renowned composer has added yet another achievement to the list. Not only in Telugu, but Keeravani also worked in many Tamil and Hindi films.
Keeravani is credited as Maragathamani and MM Cream in Tamil and Hindi languages respectively. After this announcement, the film fraternity and netizens started congratulating the music director. We heartily congratulate Keeravani Garu on this outstanding achievement at 123Telugu.
