From receiving an Oscar nomination in the Best Original Song category to winning a Golden Globe award, RRR has made every Indian cinema lover proud. The film broke several box office records in India. The film was also released in Japan three months back and the film’s team including Rajamouli, NTR and Ram Charan participated in the promotions.
The action entertainer already holds the record for the highest-grossing Indian film in the country. The latest news is that the film has completed a stupendous 100 days in Japan and has done the unimaginable. While the films have been running for barely two weeks in India, RRR surprised everyone by completing a sensational 100 days in 42 direct centers and 114 centers in a foreign nation.
It is the first Indian film to achieve this feat and Rajamouli thanked the Japanese audience for their love. He wrote that at a time when filmmakers are looking at numbers, Japanese fans are taking their team down the memory lane, leaving days of the film running.
