Nowadays it is becoming difficult for films to run for at least 2 to 3 weeks and it is possible only for those films which get unanimous blockbuster reports. In such a situation, it is almost impossible for small budget films to reach in the second week. However, the recent release of Balagam is making the impossible possible.
According to Dil Raju, the film opened to 30000 footfalls and reached 4 lakh footfalls in its first week. The film is going strong with each passing day, and on its ninth day, the film registered excellent figures at the box office, which is a tremendous achievement. Sunday’s numbers will be even bigger, and the film is expected to continue its good run for a few more days.
Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram play the lead roles in this rural-based family drama, helmed by comedian-turned-director Venu Yeladandi. Harshit Reddy and Hansita Reddy produced Balagam under the banner of Dil Raju Productions. The film is garnering appreciation from all quarters, and yesterday megastar Chiranjeevi congratulated the team for their honest effort.
