Kollywood star Vijay has joined hands with his master director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a high budget gangster drama. Titled Leo, the film is currently being shot in several picturesque locations in Kashmir. Vijay and the film’s leading lady Trisha, director Gautham Menon and Mysskin attended an important schedule that wrapped up last week, while senior heroes Arjun and Sanjay Dutt have joined the team to film their portions.
Meanwhile, speculations are rife in Kollywood circles that there will be a big surprise on the occasion of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s birthday on March 14. Fans will have to wait till next week for the big reveal. Leo is being touted as the next installment in Lokesh’s Cinematic Universe (LCU) after Kaithi and Vikram.
Leo is scheduled to release on October 19. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the soundtrack and SS Lalit Kumar is bankrolling the project under the Seven Screen Studios banner. Stay tuned for further updates.
