Veteran Bollywood actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66 at his residence in Mumbai following a heart attack. The late filmmaker’s friend and actor Anupam Kher officially confirmed the news on Twitter.
A few days ago, Satish celebrated Holi with lyricist Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Richa Chadha and others. Unfortunately, he left us all and left an irreparable void in the industry.
Satish Kaushik is also a comedian, producer and screenwriter. His notable works as a director include Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, Tere Naam and Kaagaz. He played many important roles in many Hindi films and is famous for his role as Calendar in Mr. India.
