Maas Ka Das Vishwaksen hit the theaters this Ugadi with the film Dus Ka Bharta. The film is directed by Vishwaksen himself. The actor’s last film was Ori Devuda, a fantasy romantic-comedy. Ori Devuda released during Diwali and was an official remake of the Tamil hit Oh My Kadavule. The film did well in its theatrical run.
The latest buzz is that popular entertainment channel Gemini TV has acquired the satellite rights of the film at a reasonable price. Mithila Palkar and Asha Bhat played the female leads in the Telugu remake, which was directed by Ashwath Marmathu, who also helmed the original.
Vijay Venkatesh reprized the role of God played by Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil. PVP Cinemas co-produced the film along with Sri Venkateswara Creations. Leon James composed the music. Rahul Ramakrishna and Murali Sharma played important roles.
