Buzz: These two Tamil heroes to clash once again at box office

Last Diwali, Tamil hero Karthi, and Siva Karthikeyan clashed at the box office with the films Sardaar and Prince. Out of these two, Sardaar won the Diwali race and emerged a clear winner while Prince failed to live up to the high expectations of the audience.

The latest buzz in Kollywood film circles is that these two heroes will once again clash at the ticket window. Accordingly, Karthi’s Japna and Siva Karthikeyan’s Maveeran are scheduled to release on June 29. However, till now no official statement has come from the makers of both the films.

Japan, directed by Raju Murugan, features Anu Emmanuel as the female lead in the film. Bankrolled by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures. Maveeran, on the other hand, is produced by Arun Vishwas under Shanti Talkies and features Aditi Shankar as the leading lady. Madonna Ashwin, of Mandela fame, is the writer and director.
