Malayalam movies are known for their content. The recent crime drama Iratta starring Joju George in the lead role was successful in attracting OTT audience. Though the film did not do very well in the theatres, it got its share of audience after its release on Netflix.
The film continues to skyrocket on the digital platform and is now trending all over the world. The film earned a spot in the top 10 non-English films globally for the last week i.e. March 6 to March 12. This is a sensational achievement by Eratta. Which is related to an important social issue.
Starring Anjali, Srinda, Arya Saleem, Srikanth Murali, Sabuman and Abhiram in pivotal roles, the film is produced by Appu Pathu Pappu Productions, Martin Prakat Films and Sijo Vadakan. S Jacques Bijo composed the tunes. The film is also available for streaming on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages.
