Rani Mukerji’s recent film Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway is getting a lot of accolades from celebrities. From King Khan Shahrukh Khan to Tamil star hero Suriya, the film won the hearts of many. The film hit the screens yesterday.
The Rani Mukherjee starrer earned Rs 1.27 crore on the first day. The mixed response from the audience has helped the film to a great extent and the occupancy for last night’s show has gone up. Hence the prospects are looking favorable for the weekend.
The film is based on a real-life incident of an Indian couple whose children were taken away by the Norwegian childcare system on grounds of unfair treatment. Ashima Chubbbar has directed this legal drama which also stars Neena Gupta, Jim Sharabh and Anirban Bhattacharya in key roles.
