Popular Tamil actor-filmmaker and Tamil Nadu youth welfare and sports minister Udhayanidhi Stalin had already announced his retirement from acting after completing his two upcoming films, Kannai Nambathe and Mamanan. Stalin would henceforth devote himself full-time to politics.

Stalin’s Kannai Nambathe is slated to release on March 17. Maamannan, on the other hand, will hit the theaters in June. As per the latest updates, the dubbing, editing and other post-production works of Mamnan are going on in full swing. In a recent interview with a popular Tamil media house, Stalin revealed that he shot for the film for 125 days.

Mollywood star Fahadh Faasil plays the main antagonist, while Mamanan stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Acclaimed Kollywood director Mari Selvaraj has directed the film, which is produced by Stalin himself.
