A Facebook live stream captured the moments after the four kidnapped Americans crossed the border into Mexico, according to a report.

Four Americans, Latavia “Tai” McGee, Shaid Woodard, Eric Williams and Zindell Brown, were kidnapped by members of a Mexican cartel as they crossed the border from Brownsville, Texas, to Matamoros, Tamaulipas, last week. Trying to get a tummy tuck. surgery.

An apology letter purportedly from the cartel behind the kidnapping and killings of the Americans said it had dealt with its members who were “involved and responsible” in the incident, adding that they had been handed over to the authorities.

“We have decided to hand over those who were directly involved and responsible for the incidents, who at all times acted under the influence of their own decision-making and lack of discipline,” the letter said.

The letter was accompanied by a picture of five men lying on the sidewalk, which also apologized to the residents of Matamoros.

State Department spokesman Ned Price said during a news conference on Tuesday that the two survivors had been repatriated to the US “with the assistance of our authorities in Mexico, with the assistance of our Mexican allies.”

The State Department is working on bringing the bodies of the dead back to the United States, but Mexican officials say they will be handed over after forensic work is done.

Barbara Burgess, the mother of survivor Latavia “Tai” McGee, said her daughter was crying on the phone as they spoke.

“I asked her how she was,” Burgess said. “She’s fine. She was crying because her brother was killed, and she saw him die. She saw the two of them die. They died in front of her.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Monday that “these types of attacks are unacceptable,” adding that the Biden administration “stands ready to provide all appropriate consular assistance.”
