Naga Shaurya – Srinivas Avasarala is a modern-day Jandhyala

Falana Abbai Falana Ammayi (PAPA) is a Telugu romantic comedy starring Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair in lead roles. The film, directed by Srinivas Avasarala, explores the seven phases of the relationship between the lead pair. Bankrolled by People Media Factory in association with TG Vishwa Prasad, Padmaja Dasari, and Dasari Creations and co-produced by Vivek Kuchibotla, the film will hit the theaters tomorrow.

The team held a press meet today, and Naga Shourya answered a range of questions. Speaking about the low-key promotions, Naga Shourya said that promotions do not suit all types of films and expressed confidence that the film would gain momentum through positive buzz. Naga Shaurya cited the example of KGF and Kantara, which got hype after their release.

Talking about Srinivas Avasarala’s working style, Naga Shourya said that the director never told him stories, but gave him books to read. Naga Shourya said that Srinivas Avasarala is always clear with his direction and added that he takes pride in catching the pulse of his dialogues.

Naga Shourya said that he is not worried about the result as the film has turned out well. The young actor said that Papa gave him a great canvas to try his best to showcase his acting talent. The Oohalu Gusagusalade actor said that initially, he found it challenging to adjust the sound sync and added that authenticity would have been lost if they went ahead with normal dubbing.

When asked about the director’s works not getting enough recognition in other languages, the talented actor said that Srinivasa Avasarala is a modern-day Jandhyala and added that his works should be enjoyed only in Telugu.
