Butta Bomma, the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit film Kappela, was a disappointment at the theatres. The film starred Anikha Surendran, Arjun Das and Surya Vashisht in lead roles. After running in theatres, the film is now streaming on Netflix.
The film received an overwhelming response on the OTT platform and has now made its way to the second spot on the Netflix India chart. Directed by debutant Shourie Chandrasekhar T Ramesh, the film was bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
On the other hand, the global sensation RRR is now back in the list of top 10 movies on Netflix India ahead of the Oscar award ceremony. The latest trends on the OTT platform once again indicate that this NTR- Ram Charan starrer is a timeless boxbuster.
