RRR stars NTR and Ram Charan are in high spirits as they look forward to the biggest filmy moment of their careers, the Oscars. Both the actors are busy promoting the film in Los Angeles ahead of Sunday’s Oscars ceremony.
Tarak and Charan were special guests on the popular Entertainment Tonight talkshow with Ash Crossanin. And both the actors stood for ‘Global Cinema’ in the show. Taarak said, “As an actor, for me, I think today we are celebrating cinema globally. It is not an Indian film, it is not a Hollywood film anymore. We are one big world cinema. The fact is, Los Angeles, a vacation spot for me, is now a work spot for me,” Tarak said.
Even Ram Charan expressed a similar opinion. When host Ash Crossan asked him if there were any movie franchises he would be interested in, Charan said, “I want to be in every franchise where people are actually watching, buying tickets. I’d love to be in every country.” I want every film where people basically appreciate art and cinema. Cinema is now becoming Global Cinema. It is no longer Hollywood-Bollywood. It is burning all woods and becoming Global Cinema. I Very fortunate to be a part of the film industry at a time when it is globalising.
