Shakuntalam starring star heroine Samantha is one of the big upcoming movies of this summer. The team postponed the release several times as they wanted the audience to have a bang-up experience in the theatres. Lastly, the mythological drama is confirmed to hit the screens on 14th April 2023 in both 2D and 3D formats.
Samantha, who recently watched the film, said she was in awe of Gunasekhar’s way of telling the story. Today the team of Shakuntalam started the promotions on a divine note by seeking blessings at Peddamma Temple in Hyderabad. Malayalam hero Dev Mohan makes his Telugu debut with the film. Produced by Neelima Guna under Guna Team Works, the film stars an ensemble cast including Prakash Raj, Mohan Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Gautami, Ananya Nagalla, Aditi Balan and Kabir Singh Dulhania in lead roles. Mani Sharma has given the music.
