After Pathan, two big films came to the box office which are Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada and Akshay Kumar’s Selfie. But, unfortunately, both of these are remakes and failed to entertain the audience. That’s why the drama sequence of these two has almost come to the stage of completion.
This has turned out to be a huge advantage for Pathan, who is now in a one-horse race at the box office even in its sixth weekend. Yesterday the film made a stupendous collection of 2.05 crores, which is more than double of Friday’s collection. Even more interesting is the fact that the trend is better than the fifth week.
With the arrival of Ranbir’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar this Wednesday, the film is yet again losing a significant chunk of screen time, but the work is already done. It will be interesting to see which film will be able to break the record of Pathan’s collections in Hindi.
