The 95th Academy Awards took place today at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. While every Indian was waiting for the triumphant moment of Natu Natu (RRR), the Indian documentary The Elephant Whispers has created history.
Directed by debutant director Kartiki Gonsalves, the Indian documentary won the Oscar in the Best Documentary Short Film category. The crowd cheered when the short film was announced as the winner and it won the first Oscar India of the year.
