The 95th Academy Awards ceremony took place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. While every Indian waits for the triumphant moment of Naatu Naatu (RRR), Indian documentary The Elephant Whisper creates history.
Directed by debutant director Kartiki Gonsalves, the Indian documentary won the Oscar in the Best Documentary Short Film category. The crowd cheered when the short film was announced as the winner and it won the first Oscar India of the year.
