His collection has lacked consistency in Bollywood movies of late. So either the films are doing good business like Pathan, or are not performing at all. So the trade was a bit apprehensive about the performance of Ranbir Kapoor’s new film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, a rom-com.
The film was not promoted much before its release. But the film did well on its opening day and earned Rs 15.73 crore in India. Also, Ranbir’s Holi holiday advantage and star power helped the film to post good numbers on the first day.
Since there is no further release, the film might do good business in the coming days. The film stars the lovely Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the film is produced by Luv Ranjan in association with T-Series Films.
