Ranbir’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar – Makers adopt this strategy to attract south audiences

Ranbir Kapoor, who recently became a father, will be next seen in the romantic comedy Tu Juthi Main Makkah. Ranbir is very good at romantic-comedies, and has given hits in this genre like Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. So fans are hoping that the star actor will repeat the same with Tu Juhi Main Makkar.

A representative of YRF Films, who is distributing Ranbir’s film, has confirmed that the film will be shown in all cinema halls in the southern states with English subtitles. Earlier there used to be subtitles for every Hindi movie, but now they are being added only for select movies.

Some viewers who are not comfortable with the language may prefer to watch Hindi films, and the lack of subtitles may put them off from visiting theatres. So the distributor has now properly focused on this segment, and this strategy can attract a larger number of viewers.

To note, the Hindi version of Pathan was also played in the South with English subtitles. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the rom-com stars mesmerizing beauty queen Shraddha Kapoor as Ranbir’s love interest. Tu Jhooti Main Makkar is releasing on 8 March 2023 on the occasion of Holi.
