Dhanush’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual film SIR/Vaathi is a tremendous success in both the languages. The film, directed by Venky Atluri, deals with how education has become unaffordable for students due to some barons in the education sector. Samyukta Menon played the romantic interest of Dhanush.
The film team has now announced the latest collection. Accordingly, the film grossed over ₹118 crore worldwide in Telugu and Tamil, the highest ever for a Dhanush starrer. It’s a stupendous feat, and proves once again that audiences will always encourage content-driven films. Emotions also played an important role in the success of the film.
Naga Vamsi and Sai Saujanya produced the film under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani and Hyper etc. played important roles. The film is now available to stream on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
