Upasana appointed as Zydus Director; Ram Charan is a proud hubby

Young entrepreneur Upasana Kamineni Konidela is once again making waves in the business world. Upasana has been appointed as Independent Director by leading multinational pharmaceutical company Zydus Lifesciences Limited for her expertise in Healthcare. With this appointment, Upasana has become one of the youngest independent directors of a publicly listed company.

Upasana’s appointment was recommended by the Nominations and Remuneration Committee particularly because of her expertise in the areas of HR, CSR and IT. Upasana will serve as an independent director from November 29, 2022 for the first term of 5 consecutive years.

Commenting on her appointment, Upasana said in a press statement, “I look forward to my association with an inclusive, customer-centric, dynamic global organization. I am hopeful that by pulling the right strategic levers, Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. will be able to continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of consumers through quality healthcare solutions at a global level.
