A web series titled Rana Naidu, Vijay Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles will arrive on Netflix on March 10, 2023. It is the Indian adaptation of the famous American TV series Ray Donovan and is directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Varma. Ahead of their OTT arrival, the team attended a press meet in Hyderabad today.
Venkatesh said that he is really excited to be a part of this series which is one of its kind. The veteran actor said that it has always been his dream to work with Rana. Venkatesh said that there comes a time for an actor when he wants to do something different and added that Rana Naidu is one such series which made him try something unusual.
Venkatesh said it was a great experience working with directors Karan Anshuman and Suparna Varma. Venkatesh said that the character of Naga Naidu, played by him in the series, has many shades, including wickedness and unpredictability.
The veteran actor made it clear that it would be good if the show is watched individually without a family gathering. Venkatesh said that there are many emotional scenes in the show which are new to the audience.
