Oscar-winning music director MM Keeravani says he grew up listening to The Carpenters and used the band’s iconic track On Top of the World to thank RRR director Rajamouli and others behind the world-famous Naatu Naatu track .
Oscar winner Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose got a special video from Richard Carpenter. He sang a new version of On Top of the World with his family to congratulate him on winning the prestigious award. The Instagram reel is taking social media by storm.
SS Rajamouli replied, “Sir, throughout this Oscar campaign my brother has maintained a calm demeanor. Whether it was before or after winning, he did not let his emotions out. But, the moment he saw this, he could not control the tears rolling down his cheeks. Most memorable moment for our family..Thank you so much..”
