All those who love their mothers will surely love Rudrudu: Lawrence

Actor-choreographer-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence’s Tamil film Rudran is releasing in Telugu as Rudrudu. The theatrical trailer of the film was launched almost a week back and it promises to be a solid commercial entertainer.

Rudrudu is all set for its theatrical release tomorrow (April 14). Lawrence and the film’s core team reached Hyderabad today to promote the film. While interacting with the Telugu film media, Lawrence spoke at length about Rudrudu. He said that Rudrudu will be liked by the general public, class and family audience.

“Those who love their mother will surely love Rudrudu. You all know how much I love my mother. Rudrudu is exalted on mother house. The film gives a touching message on mothers and fathers. Apart from such strong emotions, the film also has romance, comedy and dance in equal proportion.”

Talking about his character in Rudrudu, Lawrence said that he plays a middle-class techie who turns rebel after facing conflict. Directed and produced by debutant Kathiresan, the film stars Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead while Sarathkumar will be seen in a pivotal role. Tagore Madhu is releasing the Telugu version of the film.
