Megapower star Ram Charan’s Orange left disappointed upon release. But later, the film found its share of audience, and it reflected during its re-releases. Orange created a new record for re-releasing a flop film.

But no one knew why the film was named Orange. In a recent interview, Orange director Bhaskar revealed the reason behind this. Bhaskar said that the title has been chosen according to the theme of the film. Orange emphasizes that love will fizzle out after some time, and that she needs to start loving another person. Bhaskar said that love for a person will not remain the same forever and added that there are ups and downs in a relationship.

Bommarillu Bhaskar attributed the film’s concept to sunrise and sunset, which have the same orange colour. According to Bhaskara, sunrise signifies the beginning of love, which will be bright, and sunset (the dark phase) is the point where love ends. That’s why the film was named Orange, and everyone in the team agreed with it, said the talented director.
