The mega action spectacle Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam, is all set to hit the theaters on 28th April 2023. The team started promoting the film, and Karthi made some interesting remarks during one of the events.
Karthi said that Hindi audiences found it difficult to understand the first part due to the presence of multiple characters. He said that it would be confusing to read a novel that has many characters and that by the time one reaches the tenth page, there is a chance to forget some of the characters.
Karthi said that after the film’s release on OTT, people understood the film well and hence he expects the sequel to do better. Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi and Trisha play other important roles.
