Shakuntalam, director Gunasekar’s much-awaited mythological epic starring Samantha in the lead role is all set for a grand worldwide release in a matter of hours. The film is getting good response from the special premiere.
On the eve of Shakuntalam’s release, Dil Raju, one of the film’s producers, organized a special premiere show for prominent RSS leaders from across the country. All India RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, Prakash Lodha and other RSS leaders from the states appreciated the team of Shakuntalam for bringing out the greatest story of love from the epic Mahabharata in the form of Shakuntalam.
Starring Mollywood hero Dev Mohan as the tall Dushyant, Shakuntalam is produced by Gunasekhar’s daughter Neelima Guna. The soundtrack of the film is composed by Mani Sharma.
