Virupaksha starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyukta Menon in lead roles is all set for a grand release tomorrow. Ahead of the release, the team held a press meet in Hyderabad today. One of the reporters asked whether the film got an A certificate because of the romantic scenes between the lead pair.
Sai Dharam Tej said that there is no vulgar scene in the film and said that family audience can watch it. Director Karthik Dandu revealed that it has goosebumps elements and some gory scenes, due to which the censor board has given an A certificate.
Producer BVSN Prasad cited the example of the film Magadheera, which also got an A certificate, but not because of the sexual content. The producer said that some action blocks were the reason for the A certificate.
