LOS ANGELES (AP) – Sitting front row alongside stars like Margot Robbie and Lil Nas X, Virginie Wired’s sporty clothing designs inspired by Hollywood glam were as dazzling as ever during a Chanel fashion show in Los Angeles.

The fashion brand caught up with Paramount Picture Studios Tuesday night to unveil its latest cruise collection. It was such a spectacular spectacle that even Snoop Dogg was dancing in his comfortable bleacher seat while models strutted onto the black-and-white Chanel basketball-like court complete with two large scoreboards.

A giant screen up the court channeled various black-and-white videos of models dancing and aerial images of Los Angeles filled with palm trees.

The spacious court gave the models room to work in front of a star-studded crowd that included Kristen Stewart, Elle Fanning, Issa Rae, HER, Nile Rodgers, Paris Hilton, Andra Day, Leslie Mann, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kris Jenner, Kimora Were. Lee Simmons, Christina Milian and Lori Harvey.

Weird brought her approach to Californian sporty vibes to life with a selection of swimsuits, sports bras, sparkling dresses, skirts, blazers, and platform shoes with glowing heels in lavender and black, as well as various shades of pink.

The last time Chanel held a cruise collection event in the Los Angeles area was in 2007 in a hangar at the Santa Monica Airport. Previous cruise shows were held in Provence, France and Monte Carlo, Monaco.

After the approximately 30-minute show ended, Wired took a bow and made a short strut of his own while attendees applauded his efforts. Audience members were entertained before and after the event by roller skaters, who slid through the crowd and collectively danced together several times.

As a featured performer, Snoop Dogg performed a medley of his hits including “Gin & Juice,” “Nothin’ But a ‘G’ Thang,” “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “Beautiful.” The good times continued. The rapper brought out Anderson .Pak who performed “Smokin’ Out the Window”.

Doug, who also went berserk during his set, brought his family and said it was the first time he had attended such an event.

He told the crowd, “I’m gonna bring the hood to the fashion show.”
